The word Remake never used to make me tense up and frown and shout about. I don’t recall exactly when it started to happen, but in the last few years it’s been happening a lot more. And it just happened again when I read this.
For me, The Wicker Man—featuring Nicholas Cage, carved out of wood, in an acting-style cringe-worthy kind of a way, that is—tops the list as far as films which should have been left well and Read more…
When I was a kid I thought that Knight Rider was the coolest programme on TV. I used to really look forward to the weekly adventures of Michael Knight and his computerised car, KITT (‘Knight Industries Two Thousand’ if I remember correctly…).
Seeing this forum made me smile because I have been wondering what the new version is like as well. Have they changed anything? Who is it that has taken over from David Hasselhoff as the show’s star? To Read more…
There are so many get quick rich schemes out there. Don’t believe me? Google it. Google it right now. Go to Google and do a search for “get rich quick”. See how many people are trying to sell you money? Even more telling, is if you look at the sponsored links section (brown box at the top and down the right hand side) you can really see that people are paying in order to appear for this. If they are paying to be there, you know that there is something in it for them. So how do you know one from the other?
Well I’m looking at two examples right now that I have recently encountered:

So, here I am applying my body skin care cream and all of a sudden I hear smash! I throw everything down and run to the living room to find my son standing there giggling with a broken lamp next to him on the floor. What do I do? Do I scream and shout at him for breaking the lamp because surely by the way he is laughing it wasn’t an accident. So, do I spank him or give him Read more…

Being an entrepreneur, I’ve come to realize the importance of having leadership and team building skills. One cannot expect to build a strong team without these two important skills. While some people might not have these skills, they are easily
acquired with proper study and practice. So, how does one go about learning these two valuable skills so they can begin to utilize them to build a strong organization in their business?
The first way is to take advantage of Read more…

Well here we are in our happy little home in South East London. The family have all flown and guess what, it is just him and me now, on our own. Well after all, that is what we wanted when we were wild children in the sixties. We wanted to be together! So now we have all this time together, there is so much we can do. Have bus pass, will travel.
The strange thing is that free-time can be Read more…
I don’t want to talk too soon. But I think for the first time in 3 years I’m no longer single! Sound crazy eh. Let call him G, well it early days I dont’ want to commit to annoucing his full name so G it is at least for the mean time. Well to cut a long story short I met G at this speed dating event that Jezabel drag me along to, Kicking and screaming, literally (I almost killed myself jumping out the train window).
The whole thing was a little scarey, everyone was all done up and I was in a gun and roses Tshirt! I tock to sitting in a corner for half of it until I got drunk. Apparently the alchole gave me some kind of extra confidence, strange that. I didn’t do it the conventally way you are suppost to in speed dating. I sat their shout abuse at any slightly alternative attractive men that I saw. I mean who could resist that.
Bizarre enough this didn’t work very well, until I called G a skinny little roach! Well that was a ice breaker. We then pretty much finished off a whole bottle of vodka between the two of us and this was last Saturday, since then we have been blind drunk twice more and we are meeting up tomorrow.
I really do hope my little story has help other lonely alcoholics out there. And G if you read this, I’m soba at the moment, believe it or not!
